C++ Interfaces for GTK and GNOME
In addition to the wrappers distributed with gtkmm, additional widgets and libraries are available from other sources. At the time of writing (2025-09-23) they can only be used with gtkmm3 (not gtkmm4).
- gstreamermm wrappers for gstreamer (streaming media)
- gtksourceviewmm wrapper for gtksourceview (extends Gtk::TextView)
- Cambalache User Interface Designer for GTK. Cambalache UI files can be used from a gtkmm program by using Gtk::Builder.
- Glade User Interface Designer for GTK3 has been replaced by Cambalache.
